Overhead Environment Diver Courses

In scuba diving, an overhead environment is a situation where there is no open water overhead, and thus the diver in an emergency cannot escape upwards to atmosphere if his breathing set malfunctions. This can arise in ice diving, cave diving and wreck diving.

As there are so many skills and techniques common to both wreck and cave diving, our classes like Cavern or Advanced Wreck present the student with the foundational skills that are necessary to be a safe, thinking diver in any overhead environment.

Big Blue Tech is a 5 Star TDI/SDI Instructor Training Facility,a SSI-TXR Instructor Training Facility, a BSAC (British Sub Aqua Club)Technical Centre / Instructor Training Facility and a PADI TecRec Dive Centre

Big Blue Tech provide expert training with our experienced and qualified in house training team who have been selected to represent Big Blue Tech.

The training provided is designed to help create a smooth transition from your current diving level to your future goals.
